There are plenty of bus stops around Merchant City, including Glassford Street, Ingram Street and Trongate: all a few minutes walk.
We encourage the use of public transport however there is city centre parking nearby.

The event will take place from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st July 2024, daily operational hours are from 12.00noon – 6.00pm.
The family programming inside Merchant Square will begin at 11am on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July.
No, most events are free and un-ticketed except for Frame which is free but will require a ticket to be purchased to allow entry. There are also two indoor ticketed events which have a ticket price, Hip Replacement in the Old Fruitmarket, and Big Angie: Firestarter at The Social Hub.
There will be pop-up acts and performances within the streets of The Merchant City area across various days as well as family activities and music within Merchant Square. The ticketed event The Frame will take place on Garth Street. The festival also runs events in City Halls/Old Fruitmarket and The Social Hub.
No tickets are required to enter the festival site on the Merchant City streets. Tickets will be required for Frame which will take place on Garth Street as part of the festival programme and for Hip Replacement in the Old Fruitmarket and for Big Angie: Firestarter in The Social Hub.
There will be a selection of food vendors and market stalls including craft and gifts and a farmers market at this year’s festival.

No. You need to purchase tickets in advance of attending an event. etickets will be issued prior to the event. Please ensure you have your eticket to show on your electronic device or in print on arrival to event.
Tickets for The Frame are free to purchase. Tickets for Hip Replacement and Big Angie:Firestarter
No. Children under the age of 2 years at the time of the event are considered 'babes in arms'. They do not require a ticket and will not be allocated a seat. Children over the aged 2 years or older at the time of the event require their own ticket and seat. Please note there is no space for prams or buggies next to seats, we advise you to leave these in your car or at home.
Unfortunately not. Tickets are available for each performance and are valid only for the session and are non-transferable.
We advise that you aim to make your arrival time as close to the event time stated on your ticket. Latecomers may not be accepted.
