MoreGlasgow Life's Gaelic Arts Strategy shapes the continued development of Gaelic Arts within our arts, music, and cultural venues programme. It responds to Glasgow City Council’s Gaelic Language Plan.
It is delivered by Glasgow Life in partnership with a variety of agencies and strategic partners: Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The National Theatre of Scotland. The strategy is supported by Bòrd na Gàidhlig and Creative Scotland, who are consulted in its development .
We are currently working on a strategy for 2024 to 2028. The previous strategy covered 2018 - 2023.
