Thursday 5 September includes work from three Scottish-based companies - Clifftop Intergenerational Dance Company, Barrowland Ballet’s Wolf Pack and Paragon’s M3 and two international companies - Denis Santacana and Victor Fernández (Spain) and Light Sound Friends Dance Company (South Korea).
PROGRAMME
Clifftop Intergenerational Dance Company presents Threshold, which explores past, present and future themes in our own lives, asking the dancers (and the audience) to think about what doors might open or close.
Barrowland Ballet’s Wolf Pack presents Like Blood
Like Blood explores why and when we dance and celebrates the feeling of connection that can be felt through dancing together. Through their time creating and performing together, Wolf Pack have become like a family - Like Blood.
Wolf Pack is Barrowland Ballet’s intergenerational company for ages 8-80+
Denis Santacana and Victor Fernández (Spain) present the award-winning Encuentros, one of the most successful works of this duo, in which contemporary dance and flamenco present a simple story of a meeting between two people.
Paragon’s M3 will perform a new vibrant and energising piece that reflects their personal passions, tragedies and joys that they have experienced in their lives. Paragon musicians have created original music with the dancers and will perform live on stage.
Light Sound Friends Dance Company (South Korea) presents a brand new work, Puzzle. South Korea’s leading inclusive dance company’s work is a playful trio, blending a range of dance styles.
