Come and Try Sports

Hockey, fencing, volleyball and other sports activities are set up for you and your family to have a come and try session in the tennis court and bowling green from 1 pm  to 5 pm.

Archery can also be found within the main event site.

We have two FREE to join workshops, both running from 2 pm until 4 pm at the Kelvingrove Bandstand.

Artist in Residence

Local interdisciplinary artist Malini Chakrabarty will be in the park capturing Glasgow Mela on her camera to showcase the event through her eyes in both photo and illustration form.

Keep a look out and let her know what you most love about Glasgow Mela.

Food and Market Stalls

There are a range of food and gifting stalls throughout the park. You’ll find everything from fabric and henna to samosas and mango lassi.
