Bridgerton fans go wild for Benedict as he takes a whole bag of DRUGS

Bridgerton’s second season eschewed the steamy sex scenes frequently seen in the hit period drama’s first series.

However, the new series has touched on the topic of drug use, showing both Benedict Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte casually taking narcotics.

Fans of the show went wild for Benedict (Luke Thompson) after he poured an entire bag of what is believed to be opium powder into a cup of tea, after being told by his brother Colin that a small dose would ease his anxieties.

Colin replies, “Perhaps this will help you escape the thoughts that plagued your mind. The doubts, the questions that persist, no matter how far you will go to escape them.
