Chicago man charged with threatening workers and security guard at Rush Oak Park Hospital: Police – Chicago Tribune

Aggravated Aggression

Kendall Hunter, 24, of the 7900 block of South Wood Street, Chicago, on May 22 was charged with aggravated assault after being identified as the suspect who allegedly held up a knife and threatened workers at Rush Oak Park Hospital, 520 S. Maple Ave.

Mack Scales, 40, of the 8900 block of South Justine Street, Chicago, on May 21 was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and resisting arrest following an incident in a grocery store on the 400 block of Madison Street.

Current mandate

Roberta Walker, 38, of the 3300 block of West Carroll Avenue, Chicago, on May 21 was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Oak Park for theft.

Battery

Eleazar Cabrales-Ramos, 33, of the 100 block of Fort Smith Boulevard, Deltona, Fla., on May 20 was charged with battery after he allegedly pushed a CTA employee into the 1100 block of South Boulevard and then fled .

Jamil Yousef, 42, of the 6400 block of North Rockwell Avenue in Chicago, was charged May 18 with aggravated domestic battery and home invasion.

Illegal use of a weapon

Mario Dawson, 39, of the 1600 block of North Merrimac Avenue, Chicago, on May 19 was charged with aggravated unauthorized use of a weapon, driving under the influence, driving without a valid license and driving without insurance after he was found with a loaded handgun in his hand and collapsed and unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a car parked in the 300 block of South Maple Avenue.

Heist

Clifton Newburn, 25, of the first block of Washington Boulevard, Oak Park, on May 19 has been charged with burglary for an incident that allegedly occurred on October 18.

A pair of Versace sunglasses and a pair of headphones were reported stolen on May 25 from an unlocked Kia Soul parked in the 100 block of North Humphrey Avenue. The estimated loss was $750.

A purse containing two wallets, a laptop and a makeup bag was stolen May 23 from a parked GMC Terrain in the 300 block of Chicago Avenue. The entrance was unknown. The estimated loss was $1,225.

A hanging garage door opener was reported stolen May 22 from a Honda Civic parked in the 1200 block of North Harvey Avenue. The estimated loss was $225.

An iPhone 11 and portable speaker were stolen May 20 from a 2017 Nissan Altima parked in the 500 block of Wisconsin Avenue. Entrance was through an open window. The estimated loss was $700.

A Lenovo ThinkPad, computer, briefcase and wallet containing cash, credit cards and a vaccination card were stolen May 19 from a 2015 Chevy Equinox parked in the 00 block of Erie Court. Entry was gained through the rolled-up driver’s side window. The estimated loss was $1,480.

About $6 was stolen on May 20 when someone ransacked an unlocked Honda CRV parked in the 600 block of Randolph Street and stole the money from the center console.

A package of bandages was reported stolen on May 20 when someone entered a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, ransacked the interior and stole the item.

A bicycle was reported stolen on May 20 from the garage of a home in the 1200 block of North Harvey Avenue. Entry was through an unlocked side service door. The estimated loss was $100.

A Trek F2 bicycle was stolen May 18 from the garage of a home in the 200 block of South Humphrey Avenue. Entry was through an open overhead door. The estimated loss was $699.

Flight

The catalytic converter was reported stolen May 21 from a 2013 Toyota Prius parked in the 200 block of South Boulevard.

An unlocked Trek Allant bicycle was reported stolen on May 22 from the west side hallway of Ascension School, 823 Clarence.

An unsecured bicycle, with a rack and pannier attached, was stolen May 17 from the front yard of a home in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard. The estimated loss was $300.

A loveseat was stolen May 20 from the porch of a home in the 800 block of Linden Avenue. The estimated loss was $500.

A box containing 20 boxes of tennis balls was stolen on May 20 from the front door area of ​​a home in the 300 block of South Euclid Avenue.

A package containing a Roku controller was reported stolen on May 20 from the porch of a house in the 300 block of South Euclid Avenue. The estimated loss was $40.

Retail theft

Merchandise totaling $1,066 was stolen from a retailer in the 400 block of North Harlem Avenue.
